Cake Smash Photoshoot
For the cake smash photoshoot, there are 2 different cake smash packages for you to choose from to your preference. Please go to Packages & Prices in the menu for more information.
Cake smash sessions are ideally booked 1-2 weeks in advance as I may need to buy or make a prop for the set up, and this will take time.
Once you have chosen the theme, date and time, next is the outfit, I have a collection of outfits for the 1 & 2 year olds but you are welcome to bring your own. All other children above the age of 2 must have their own outfits. There is a £20 booking deposit fee at the time of booking and the outstanding balance to be paid on the day by cash or bank transfer.
After the session you will receive an email with a link and a password to access your private online gallery (minimum 3 to 5 working days after the session)
Please note that the cakes that I provide are form a clean and sterile environment with fresh and the best ingredients we can possibly get but AM sparkling stars photography is not responsible of any allergies your baby may have. If you are worried you can bring your own cake with you.

WHEN SHOULD I SCHEDULE A CAKE SMASH SESSION?
You need to schedule your session at least 1-2 weeks before your child's birthday. This will give me time to prepare props, discuss the theme/colours for the session and edit the gallery before their birthday.
WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD WEAR?
I can provide something that will match the theme, but you are very welcome to bring anything you want! Something to match the colour or theme of your session would work best. For girls - rompers, tutu, or just frilly nappy cover. For boys- solid T's and jeans, rompers. I have a collection of outfits for the 1 & 2 year olds but all other children above the age of 2 must have their own outfits.
WHAT ABOUT THE CAKE?
The cake smash session fee includes a matching cake. You can bring in your own cake if you like and deduct £25 of the final price only for the gold package. The bronze and silver package includes a matching cake to the

WHAT WILL HAPPEN AT THE SESSION ?
The session will start with a mini portrait shoot, then straight into the cake smash fun! After that to finish off with a splash in the bath. Cake smash sessions are approx 1 hour.
WILL MUM AND DAD GET MESSY TOO?
You will definitely get messy, you will probably need to show your child that she/he can eat the cake, you will need to keep placing the baby back into the set up after she/he has stood up and walked around, your child may try and hug you. You may get frosting on your clothes so please wear clothes that you don't mind getting messy. I would recommend bringing with you spare set of clothes for everyone! The studio has a changing room and a toilet if you need it:)

All cake smash sessions take place in a studio at Westcliff-on-sea 727 London Road, Southend-on-sea, Essex SS0 9ST
